Essential oils against cold

We have collected our favorite essential oils which we recommend to use durring cold winter season.

The natural remedy offers many excellent solutions, with help we can effectively relieve symptoms of cold and reduce the risk of viral diseases. As an additional therapy, aromatherapy also has a beneficial effect on our body and nervous system.

Prevention:

A lemon essential oil is an air disinfectant, so it can be used perfectly in medical waiting rooms, kindergartens, nurseries and other places where many people visit.

A tea tree essential oil can also disinfect the air space by diffuse it. II has powerful and extensive bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal properties, stimulates the immune system. Tea tree oil is has an excellent disinfectant, property so it is worth taking with you and use it as an outdoor hand sanitiliser.

Prevention and relief of symptoms:

If you want to disinfect the airways and make them more permeable, the antiviral and immune system strengthening essential oil, Ravintsara is an excellent choice. Ravintsara essential oil also known as Madagascar camphor tree, despite the fact that the essential oil does not contain camphor.

Essetial oils can help you with diseases caused by viruses: influenza, colds, herpes, viral diarrhea (applied to the affected area, diluted in base oil, also a great choice for inhalation in case of colds). It is also loved by many for its hurutaloozer and linctus effects. It is important not to use in case of spasmodic cough!

In the case of a weakened immune system (in base oil, applied to the skin, for prevention, apply it to the soles of children, and for adults apply it to the back, next to the spine).

A very popular oil for upper respiratory diseases is eucalyptus.Eucalyptus essential oil has many varieties, so there are minor differences in the effect of them. For newborns, children, pregnant women and elderly people Eucalyptus radiata is recommended which can be used safely by evaporized or massage into the chest deluted in a base oil. It dissolves mucus, it is an excellent expectorant, fever and respiratory diseases (cough, difficulty breathing). It has antimicrobial and antiviral effects. Do not use in case of spasmodic cough!

peppermint essential oil : it's most important component is menthol, thanks to which it is recommended for the treatment of various respiratory diseases. It can be found in cough syrups, breath-relieving candies and inhalers. In the form of an essential oil, dissolved in a base oil, it can also be used as a chest rub or inhaled. It makes breathing easier, disinfects the air space, refreshes. It is a very strong, intensive essential oil, so pregnant women, newborns and children under 6 years shouldn't use it!
